Distinctive Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with penetrating overtone #4540

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather

Rare incredibly thick huge Thadobati style. The bowl has clear but worn etching inside, outside and on the broad rim. This is a very old bowl that has been polished to a bright, almost mirror like finish. Powerful penetrating overtone – the gently pulsing main tone and gently fluttering overtone play together throughout a very good sustain. The power comes from the sheer amount of metal vibrating off of the tall walls. Easy to play a simple focused overtone with leather. The bowl sings substantially the same regardless of striker so the recommended one is heavier. With overtones at A5, G6. Overtone: Perfect A5 (432 Hz Scale) – 864 Hz.
