Large Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with extraordinary art #4615

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Large circle pattern Thadobati with many old style features such as a wide crushed rim, and deep etching. This thick bowl is adorned inside out and even the rim with extraordinary hand etched art. A fluttering overtone is the strongest initial note in this essentially dual tone bowl. Over time the fundamental becomes relatively stronger but both notes hold until the end. Good harmony and ok longevity. Good rim play, the heft of a big ringing stick gives the leather the ability to stick and bring up the volume. Overtones with wood and wand are a bit rough to start but get the sound going. The overtone rim sustain is better than the fundamental. With overtones at A#5, A6, F7.
