Large old Thadobati with worn but clear etching and original patina. The bowl has the vestiges of a wide crushed rim. Clear and balanced initial soundscape that quickly becomes bass only, first active then slowing down. Really nice effect if you want to start with soft awakening and fade into deep tone quiescence. This is a very old bowl and the sound has obviously mellowed with time. Great power off the rim. I had to stop and re-record because it was blowing out the mic. Both bass and overtone with leather. Wood would also go intense. Fantastic sound in a perfect 220 Hz bowl. With overtones at E5, D#6, B6. Perfect A3 – 220 Hz.
