Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with fluttering high and solid overtone #5685

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Ebony Wand

Very worn circle design Thadobati with a crushed rim. This old bowl has a substantial feel from the thickness of the metal. A hot fluttering high note jumps off the rim of this bowl accompanied by a solid clear overtone. The fundamental blends to a solid tone as the sustain continues. Good harmony and very good longevity for the thick style. Fair rim play with wood. A simple ringing stick will bring out the fundamental, only the ebony tiny wand will sing the overtone. With overtones at A6, G7.
