Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with brassy sound #5931
5931 Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with brassy sound #5931
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet followed by S 5 single then multiple taps. |
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Kingwood Wand |
Heavy bottomed Thadobati with dark patina from under which clear etching and hammermarks are visible. Brassy bell like sound which falls off fairly quickly. This is more of a bowl to play multiple taps with. The brassy complexity plays well off the rim with wood and can be driven to intensity. The kingwood wand spins the second overtone. With overtones at D6, D7, G#7.
