Thin Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with warbling high pitch #7050

1. Best L 8 Large High Mallet single tap.

Thick Thadobati with inconsistent patina and extensive clear etching. This very old bowl has a crushed rim and classical triple circles. Fluttering unsteadily this bowl’s warbling high pitched voice will seem stimulating to some and disconcerting to others, sort of like coffee in the morning. For a bit an overtone adds to the effect. Longevity is good for the style. Harmony is a matter of interpretation. This is a good bowl to play with a lower tone mallet like L6 or N22 if you are looking to tame it somewhat. The rim does not lend itself to spinning, not much of a loss here as the unique sound from a mallet is really the attraction..
