The bass tone is very strong in this bowl so rim play will naturally tend to it. Leather, then, is very easy to spin smoothly to volume, quite satisfying. The overtone with wood takes a lot of pressure and even then it is difficult to escape the bass. Fine rim sustain. Exceptional soundscape. With overtones at E5, D6, A#6, D#7.
