1887 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a pulsing bass and longevity #1887
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Old Jambati with rich original patina and a slightly wide rim. The bowl has visible hammermarks. Pulsing bass and resonant overtone are overtaken by a super even rapid fluttering second overtone that is strongest at the end of the sustain. Fine harmony and longevity. Easy bass off the rim, wood plays overtone intensity and a tiny wand brings out the next level highs. With overtones at G4, G5, D#6, A6.
