Large Antique Lingam Thadobati Singing Bowl with a gentle main tone #30607

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Large, extra thick and heavy Thadobati lingam with clear artwork and beautiful variegated color patina outside. This extremely rare Lingam has the feature of a full round of banded punch circles. While some very old bowls have circle art it is highly unusual in a lingam. This incredibly heavy antique has a broad crushed rim that has clear deep lines etched into it. The tall and fat lingam surrounded by clear hand etched circles. The indentation under the bowl is small, meaning the artist deliberately moved metal to the center to craft the lingam. Exuberant start bright with two tones playing into each other. Out of the initial burst the fundamental emerges gently pulsing under the solid high. Nice effect, premium harmony ok sustain. Fine rim play. Leather easily plays the strong fundamental. Wood is a trace of overtone and a lively fundamental. With overtones at C#6, C7.
