Extra thick Mani with the usual extensive artwork. The center circles are broad and deep with a black patina that produces a strongly contrasting look that just draws your eye to it. Those center circles also draw because the rim is less broad than many Mani. Exceptionally harmonious multiple tone soundscape where you hear the sweet highs backing up the main tone from the start. The primary tone is active and the overtone strong and solid. The primary tone is a D followed by G in the next octave and F in the octave above, a complex soundscape for a mani. Great volume with a mallet strike with very good longevity. A harder strike gives you more flutter. Plays well off the rim with wood, not so much difference between sticks and wands. With overtones at G6, F7.
