Incredibly thick and heavy extra large Mani with a broad inner facing rim. This nicely adorned 5 1/2 pound bowl has brooding dark patina. Super hot fluttering high tone bowl. The amazing mass of this instrument provides a base for the projection of high intensity, definitely a bowl to raise energy with. Harmony and sustain are about average. For the best high intensity play a hard massive wand is best, not enough grip for leather. Softer woods mellow the vibrations substantially. I would suggest the S8 mallet for the hottest play. With overtone at G#6.
