Thick worn Mani bowl, somewhat smooth to the touch with vestiges of what was originally deep etching. The broad rim remains even with the etching muted. Nice smoky brass original patina. Powerful fluttering fundamental tone with penetrating power, this bowl can shake you from the inside producing a binaural beat type effect. Excellent longevity along with premium harmony. While the rim is too smooth for leather the bowl plays spectacularly with wood. The outstanding sustain comes across clearly. Basic wood or massive wand. Rated exceptional for the power of the even oscillations. With overtone at G#6.
