Large Extra Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with Middle C #40002

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play:

Thick very large Thadobati with a flared out shape. The bowl has original patina and an unusual crushed rim. This is one of those bowls that feels like molten putty. Pulsing fundamental tone is the strongest note, however to overtones are there from the start and remain a presence until almost the end of this fine sustain. This heavy bowl pushes a lot of air, lots of raw power. Sustain is good as is harmony. Rim play is basically the middle C fundamental note. Nice and smooth with leather, smooth also with wood, just a touch of overtone which is subsumed by the bass. With overtones at F#5, F6.
