Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with three easy to hear tones #40123

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand then FP Ebony Wand

Very large, thick and Thadobati with extensive artwork – more than just lines and circles. The bowl has red and green interior patina with copper sparkles. Very powerful bowl, the heavy weight means there is a lot of metal to move. The soundscape is engaging, three fairly easy to differentiate tones, steady below and fluttering above. Longevity is very good, as the sound continues the tones stay in their own lanes maintaining volume. Rim play is, well, impressive. With a leather stick you can spin out the bass with its slow over one second pulse. Sustain is outstanding, Wood brings out overtones, more activity. Almost surprising you can play this huge bowl with a tiny wand teasing out the next high. With overtones at E5, D#6, B6, F7.
