XX Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with balanced dual tone sound #4046

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Large extra thick Thadobati, a fine example of the most ancient style of singing bowl. This incredibly heavy bowl has dusty original patina. The broad rim itself has traces of deep lines. Nicely balanced two tone soundscape where both notes play together throughout an excellent sustain. The bass is solid, providing a hollow background to the rapidly pulsing overtone. Premium harmony and lots of power from the sheer mass of the bowl. Fine off the rim, it picks up power easily with leather which plays the pure fundamental tone. Interestingly that bass note pulses of the rim in contrast to its solid impression with a mallet. The overtone plays cleanly with a massive yew wand. Great sustain on that higher active note. With overtones at A#5, A6.
