Large “low bulge” Thadobati. This substyle has a very heavy bottom with the widest part being low down the side of the bowl. In addition it has distinct artwork with wide and narrow inner circles, a two texture exterior, smooth on top inside etched bands and rough below. Finally as almost a counter to the bottom the rim is thin. Short lived bass followed by a long lasting pulsing overtone and somewhat later and emerging ringing high. Resonant and active. This style bowl is a dream to play with leather with its long sloped side. Bass or overtone depending n technique. Same overtone with wood or wands. With overtones at B4, B5, F#6.
