Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a peaceful soft bass #4351

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Absolutely incredible looking thick old Thadobati. One rarely sees such a combination of patina, hammermarks and etching. The bowl is a classic triple circle crushed rim type, just like a ceremonial lingam. Even the patina is reminiscent of those rare old types with its rich contrasting colors. Simple soundscape with a solid soft bass under a mildly fluttering overtone. Peaceful and focused. Longevity is fair to good, the recording goes for 25 seconds. This is one of those bowls that takes a few spins to get going but as you do you are rewarded with increasing intensity. The wood end of the ringing stick or the hardest massive wand is needed for bringing out the overtones. With overtones at A5, G6, D#7.
