Large Adorned Resonant and Bell Like Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl #4676

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Extra large Thadobati with rich hammermark patina and a good amount of etching. This is a big thick bowl. Resonant and bell like to start the soundscape quickly simplifies into a bass and overtone. Longevity and harmony are both good. The bowl pulses slowly at the bass while an active overtone keeps it from becoming overly peaceful. Great rim play. The bass plays purely, easily and strongly with leather. Spun purely you can really hear the long 3 second bass pulse. Longevity is spectacular, unlike with a mallet strike. The near Solfeggio (532 Hz) overtones comes out purely with, again surprising longevity. It takes a lot of work but the 1000 Hz second overtone can be spun out with a tiny ebony wand. With overtones at C5, B5, G6.
