Polished Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with 2 sweet simple notes #4770

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand then FP Ebony Wand

Extra thick extra large Thadobati, smooth to the touch that has been polished, I would suspect, recently. This is a very old bowl with a broad crushed rim. At over 3 Lbs. is very heavy for the style, which, most likely, originally had punch circles and lots of etching. Sweet and simple sound, only two strong notes. The overtone flutters and the relatively high bass is penetratingly solid, That main tone becomes the only one that plays eventually. Harmony is premium, longevity very good. There is a third note at the beginning if you listen closely, not necessarily in synch and much higher. Excellent rim play, the polishing does the trick. Leather is a dream, it just grabs the bowl and pushes the volume. Pure fundamental. The massive wand plays a mix of bass and overtone, ebony wand purer overtone, Fine rim sustain. A rare beauty. With overtones at A#5, F#7.
