Spectacular heavy and extra thick uniquely shaped bowl. The bowl sports a unique narrow waisted shape and extensive very deep etching. The rim and top of the bowl is flares out while the bottom is broad and flat. One of a kind for sure. Amazing sounding bowl, deeply resonant, especially at the start with compelling complexity. The bowl goes from complex and active to mellow over time. The second part of the recordings 1 is to give a repeated feel for the exuberant outburst at the start. Longevity is fair. Not a bowl for stick play, the rim and sloping sides make for difficult for contact. This is a one of a kind bowl with a one of a kind soundscape. Rated exceptional for its dual individuality.
