Antique Thadobati Lingam Singing Bowl with spectacular craftsmanship #30604

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Large thick Thadobati lingam bowl with worn but clear artwork. It has the classical features of a broad crushed rim and the artist was quite deliberate in gathering the metal for the lingam so the indentation below the bowl is tiny. The lingam itself is sharp and clear and is placed in a slightly thicker mounded field bounded by the etching. Spectacular craftsmanship. Pleasant fluttering soundscape, a bit of initial complexity followed by an almost pure fundamental tone. Longevity is ok, 30 seconds and harmony good. Rim play is totally focused on the fundamental,, even with the hardest wand the bowl reverts to bass. Lots of sonic clarity, really one note.3. With overtones at B5, A6, F7.
