4513 Complex yet peaceful Thick Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl #4513
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Large circle pattern Thadobati with clear deeply etched inner circles. The bowl has light patina. Complex yet peaceful soundscape based on a solid fundamental with a gentle woo-woo overtone that glides into a solid sustain. Good harmony and longevity. Easily spun with leather the almost pure bass plays clearly. The overtone comes out strongly and clearly with that same side of the stick – you can hear the gentle flutter. Excellent rim longevity. The next overtone, a singing sweet tone can be teased out somewhat roughly with a tulipwood wand. With overtones at C#5, C6, A6.
