Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with metallic overtones #4751
4751 Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with metallic overtones #4751
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Large heavy Thadobati with bold clear inner circles. The exterior art is almost all worn away. Pulsing bass under metallic overtones. The first overtone flutters, the second is very solid. At the end of the sustain it is that solid note that prevails. Clear bass, easily and smoothly off the rim with leather, overtone comes out strongly and clearly with that same side of the stick – you can hear the flutter. Excellent rim longevity. Two next overtones can be teased out somewhat roughly with a yew or tulipwood wand. With overtones at A4, G#5, E6.
