Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a lilting super high #7071

Heavy super thick Thadobati with faint etching except for the deeply lined rim. Evidence of lots of wear on this sold bowl. A bouncing lilting super high primary tone plays strongly with a bit of help from a short lived singing high. While the overtone is fleeting the fundamental has absolutely spectacular longevity. Also unusually this high pitched bowl has a relaxing demeanor, the slow pulses combined with the high frequency in some systems would be used to calm the higher centers. This is the rare bowl in this style that has this quality along with easy staying power. Harmony is premium to go along with the longevity. Also unusual and quite beneficial is the fact that this high pitched bowl can be easily be played with leather. The size of stick required seems somewhat out of proportion but the result is smooth and easy control. The soft yew wand also spins the rim, same as the large stick just for the fundamental tone. Rated exceptional for its rare playing characteristics combined with its sweet premium harmony. With overtones at B6, A#7.
